A One of Kind Shopping Experience at Terrain

My friends and I have an annual tradition of getting together for a dinner or brunch near the holidays. We try to pick somewhere new each year and this year it was a visit to my friend Erin down in Westport. We started the day at a cozy brunch spot, The Cottage, snagging the round table in the corner. I indulged on a spicy bloody mary and lobster benedict and my friends and I cheered to the new year! After brunch, we headed to see some of the shops in town. We stopped into Serena & Lily and then drove to Terrain – a home goods and garden mecca!

Terrain is a true destination and pictures probably won’t even do this place justice. The home and garden store is owned by Anthropologie and is truly is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. It’s described as a place for the senses, and it lives up to that description in every way. Right now they have locations in CA, PA, and CT (woohoo!).

We started by strolling through the outdoor garden section which had an extensive selection of plants, wreaths, and trees. There was even a campfire set up with plaid blankets and a log fire. The store is decorated from floor to ceiling with products and plants. It felt like I was strolling through a magical holiday garden. I probably could of spent a whole afternoon browsing the store. There are unique home goods, gardening supplies, beauty products, baby gifts, candles, etc. In the middle of the store, there is the Terrain Cafe with a complete menu of brunch, lunch, and dinner options. Needless to say, I will be back to explore some more because one visit just wasn’t enough!
