Welcome, I'm Kristen!

I'm a Connecticut native exploring New England with my husband, Rob, and two girls Elle & Lily. I have a serious love for travel and this place we call home. I'm a sucker for coastal living, nautical vibes, good eats, a fine glass of cabernet, and everything blue and white. With my camera always in tow, On a Voyage was created to share my family's adventures - travel itineraries - and bits and pieces of our life here in New England.

This afternoon we parked on Main Street and strolled down to the water passing the charming…

Every year, Rob’s work sponsors a trip for employees and their families to celebrate the year. It’s a chance to network and have…

A New England Style Shrimp Boil

My friend, Kristin, cooked up this classic shrimp boil for Rob and I a few years back and the meal always stuck with me. This dish is New England on a plate. It is a mix of shrimp, corn, red potatoes, spicy sausage, and the perfect broth seasoned with Old Bay. Kristin served it by pouring the shrimp boil directly…
